Review: Witches Protection Agency

I received the book Witches Protection Agency for free for reviewing purposes. This was my first time reading a book by author, Michael Phillip Cash. I really liked his writing style as I felt this story included multiple genre's making this suitable for different taste. Completely entertained, I was able to finish this book in a couple of days. That says a lot coming from me who has an adventurous two year old running around.

This story starts out with main character Wes Rockville failing at his career in law enforcement unlike his father and brother before him. Rockville, unable to carry out a so called simple arrest of a little old lady was given a last chance effort to prove himself. His father known as Harris, placed him in a secret 232 year old organization called the Witches Protection Program making this his only chance to save his career. Wes Rockville was partnered with tough agent Alastair Verne. Wes was told about the secret life of witches and how they lived among the world unnoticed. He also learned that wicthes were separated into the good  known as Davina's and the bad known as the Willa's. His first gig as witch protector was protecting Morgan Pendragon, heir to Pendragon Cosmetics. This tale takes you on twist and turns as Morgan learns that Pendragon Cosmetics has plans for world domination being carried out by her beloved aunt and caretaker, Bernadette Pendragon. This is all I will divulge of this entertaining tale. You must read the rest!!!  

I enjoyed this book and loved how the author incorporated different genre's. It had a little supernatural,  some suspense, comedy and even a tid bit of romance. I'm in my 30's and this was a easy, fast read for me. I think this would also appeal to the young adults. I have a feeling this isn't the last we will hear of witch protector, Wes Rockville. I can see this character being part of a series. I recommend this book to anyone interested in tales of the supernatural! I also look forward to reading other titles by Michael Phillip Cash.

Review: ArtToFrames 20x16 Custom Photo Canvas Gallery Wrap

I was invited by seller via Tomoson to review ArtToFrames Custom Photo to Canvas, Gallery Wrap. I accepted excitedly and received this item heavily discounted in exchange for my honest review. I had the perfect photo in mind of my daughter, that I randomly took with my cell phone, on a rainy day two years ago. I had intended to eventually have this photo blown up to put on our living room wall at some point but I thought the gallery wrapped canvas was a much better idea. This canvas photo print turned out way better that I expected. My husband and I loved it so much we already took both our girls out for a mini photo shoot hoping to catch the perfect photo to order us another canvas. Since taking this rainy day photo of my daughter more than two years ago I have had another little one and would love to have a canvas with both my girls.

The hardest part as a consumer of this product is picking out which photo to submit! It is easy to upload your photo directly to the site on Amazon. You are then able to preview and modify to your taste. My photo was one that I had posted to Instagram using their photo filters, over two years ago. I no longer had it saved in my phone so I simply copied my Instagram link back to my camera roll in my phone and submitted my photograph. This photo is a HD high quality print utilizing 12 inkjet printers for printing. It creates an incredible, eye popping print with vibrant colors. This canvas is handmade by stretching over a quality wood frame. There is a metal bracket already installed in the back of the frame so when you receive your canvas it is ready for hanging. My canvas is a 16x20 and the smallest offered by Art To Frames. They also have 5 larger sizes. My husband had me compare prices with Walmart of the 16x20 size, just out of curiosity. Art to Frames is actually $10 cheaper in the 16x20 and I'm willing to bet a much better quality. 

I recommend this canvas wrapped print to anyone wishing to enlarge a personal photo for their wall. This is great for your photographs or original artwork. I am in love with how personable this item is and we will cherish for year's to come. Also makes a great gift.

Review: Girls 18K Rose Gold-plated Seahorse Necklace Gift Package

I received this item via Tomoson for free in exchange for my honest review. I knew this Seahorse pendant with necklace would be perfect for my six year old daughter. She loves all things pink and also collects jewelry. She was so excited when I gave her this necklace because she has plans for it. She loves to dress up and uses her imagination well. This piece of jewelry will fit along perfectly with a mermaid costume she owns. 

This necklace came gift packed in a pink velour shell shaped box. The pendant is two seahorses in a heart shape. Both seahorses contain sparkling white and pink crystals. The necklace and pendant both are made of 18K rose gold-plated alloy. It makes this piece have a pinkish hue which is gorgeous. The necklace is an 18" cable link chain. It has a lobster claw clasp with an extension that adds an adjustable length of 2 inches. I really like that this piece is nickel and lead free. This gift pack also includes a postcard explaining the symbolism of the seahorse. It states that a seahorse represents serenity, contentment, patience, persistence, and gentle strength. The seahorse also is a symbol of perceptiveness, giving it the ability to see all sides of a situation. These make for wonderful attributes indeed. 

I recommend this product for most any girl. The rosy pink hue of the seahorse pendant and necklace is a hit in my house. This item would make a beautiful gift!

Review: Can a Princess Be a Firefighter?

I received the this book, "Can a Princess Be a Firefighter?", via Tomoson for free in exchange for my honest review. I'm constantly seeking out new books for my six year old daughter's personal collection. Part of her daily homework as a kindergartner is to read 15 minutes daily. I took interest in the title and that is why I selected this book for her. 

This book is written by Carole P. Roman and illustrated by Marteya Arkova. It is a paperback book, written in rhyme and contains lovely illustrations. My daughter and I had a discussion about the title of this book before reading. Her response to the question, "Can a Princess Be a Firefighter?", was I can be anything I want to be. She was immediately drawn to the theme of this book because her school had recently had a career week. She has decided at six her passion is to become an artist. She was intrigued by this story of two daughters asking their dad simply, "Can a Princess Be a Firefighter?". I love the message of this book in that the dad explains to his girls that they can be whatever they chose as long as it makes them happy. His tells them should they desire to do something else then it is okay to make a change. Regardless where life takes them they will always be his princesses. Such a sweet story! This is an easy read and the rhyming throughout makes it great to keep young listener's attention.

I recommend this book to any little reader. There is a great moral to the store and it is easy for young ones to understand. This book would make a great gift or a wonderful addition to a personal collection.

Review: Swissvita Micrite 3D All Use Eye Cream

I was invited to review Swissvita Micrite 3D All Use Eye Cream via Tomoson. I received this product for free in exchange for an honest review. I was drawn to this product because of its claims to heal dark circles and fine lines. It also should reduce skin discolorations, puffiness and wrinkles. Another benefit is it works to improve firmness of the skin and elasticity. I really like that this product is safe to use by being additive free, alcohol  free, sulfate free, fragrance free and paraben free. It comes packaged in an aluminum tube that can withstand high temperatures. This packaging also prevents contamination and ensures the product is of utmost quality. So let's see how well I fared....

.....I have used this product for almost two weeks. I feel it looks more like a gel rather than a cream. It is important to note that this gel came rushing out after I popped the seal. The picture above is probably about 3 to 4 applications. Just something you may want to be aware of if you decide you are interested in purchasing this product. It was advised to use twice a day after using a toner. I do not use a toner so I just applied in the morning and before bed. I followed directions for use by dabbing the gel around my eye area. I even applied between my eyes and my forehead. I have not seen a difference in my dark circles as of yet nor what I consider to be "fine lines" and "wrinkles". I do feel a definite tightening and pulling feeling after application. I also feel there is a reduction in eye puffiness. I have several sleep disorders that cause me severe fatigue. I don't get as much sleep as a normal person and I'm lucky if I get 5 hours nightly. This of course leaves me with the dark circles. I'm hoping that the longer I use this product I will see a noticeable change. I also wear a CPAP mask at night and it causes my skin to get dry around the eye area from the air that leaks out of my mask. I do feel as if my skin isn't as dry since using the gel. My skin feels a lot softer come morning time. This gel does have a somewhat sticky feel to it. The picture below is a before shot and an about two weeks after picture.

I gave this product three stars on Amazon. I am yet to give up on it because I do feel a definite tightening of my skin, reduced puffiness and softer skin. I do not know if perhaps this product isn't best suited for me because of my extreme sleep issues that obviously wreck havoc on my skin. I have quite a bit of product left and I will update this post with a picture after using it all.

I was selected by CrowdTap to complete the Johnsonville Grillers Mission. I recieved a coupon to select a free Johnsonville Griller of my choosing. Of all the flavors, my husband and I agreed on trying the Steakhouse Onion. These Grillers are actually frozen pork patties and come six to a box. They can be grilled or cooked in a skillet on the stove.

We chose to grill ours and the smell of the Steakhouse Onion Patty cooking was so good. This product is easy to cook. You just take right from the box and cook frozen. I think this griller has a great flavor and I'm interested in trying some of the others which are Chedar Cheese & Bacon, Buffalo Bleu, Chedar Cheese, Orginal Bratwurst and Swiss Cheese & Mishhroom. In comparison to other frozen burgers I have had, I feel the Johnsonville Griller is the best.

This was a tasty experience. Being that this product is a pork patty and not beef it has a whole different texture than the traditional burger. My family enjoyed this product and we love any chance we get to grill!!!

Review: Splendor Santa Barbara Ionic Illumination Candle

I requested the Santa Barbara Ionic Illumnation Candle from Tomoson to review. I recieved this product at a discount in exchange for my honest opinion. It can be purchased on Amazon. This candle is amazing and just perfect for my household. I'm a migraine sufferer and have severe allergies. I enjoy burning candles but can't always do so because of the smell. The candle is fragrance free so I do not have to worry that it will trigger a migraine. It also works to purify the air around me by ionization. It bascially works to neutralize irritants in the air. Big ones for us are dust, pollen and pet dander. I take comfort knowing that this candle works to cleanse the air in our environment. 

This candle burns clean. It is a naturally made with 100% beeswax and coconut oil. It contains no petroleum which when burned produces carcinogens in the air we breathe. This candle is even safe enough to use as a moisturizer on the skin. I had to try this out for myself. The consistency isn't waxy and I rubbed it right into the top of my hand. Review: Butterfly Necklace Gift Package

I received the Butterfly Necklace Gift Package off Tomoson at a discount in exchange for an honest review. This item is made by Box Me Not Jewelry and sold by Beneath the Baobab on Amazon. This is my second item from this seller as I already own matching earrings to this set. This seller provides wonderful customer service and I wouldn't ever hesitate to place future orders. 

This gift set is packed in a purple organza gift bag. It includes a bookmark with the quote "Your Wings already exist. All you have to do is fly...". The gift box is butterfly shaped and made of purple and pink velour. The inside of the box says  "Blossom like a Butterfly."

The butterfly charm is made of a white gold-plated metal alloy. The cubic zirconia crystals are quite eye catching and sparkle as the charm moves. Each wing of the butterfly is a different color: pink, purple, green and yellow. These colors compliment spring time and the attire that comes along with it well.

  

The chain is perfect length for girls at 17" long. It is lightweight, seems to be of good quality and has a spring ring clasp. The Amazon posting does not state what the chain itself is made of. I did see a 925 stamping so I am to assume silver. 

I like that this is necklace is suitable for those with sensitive skin or allergies. It is nickel and lead free. 

This piece of jewelry as I said earlier matches a set of earrings I ordered my daughter from the same seller. I ordered this with my daughter's spring picture day at school in mind. She loves jewelry and can not wait to wear it to school and show her friends. I recommend this gift set for any little girl or young adult. With the inspirational quote on the bookmark it would really make for a nice graduation gift or for any young lady needing a boost of confidence.

CrowdTap CrowdKit Mission: Fast Acting Advil

This CrowdKit couldn't have come at a better time and it has really been a lifesaver. My CrowdKit for this mission consisted of six samples packs of Advil Film Coated. I also received several  $3.00 off coupons that I passed along to my family and friends. I have two herniated disc in my neck. That in itself causes me sporadic pain but I also have really tight muscles in my neck and shoulders because that area stays tense and I'm a migraine suffer as well. I have been taking Cymbalta for pain management and am having to wean off this medicine in order to take a sleep study. I'm having increasing pain due to this and Advil has really helped to relieve my pain and take the edge off. I first tried Brownie Brittle visiting my mom one day and needing to satisfy a sugar craving. It was so good and I had to look this company up. I contacted Shelia G's Brownie Brittle raving about them and how I would love to try some more. They sent me five bags of goodness! Brownie Brittle flavors consist of Peanut Butter Chip, Mint Chocolate Chip, Chocolate Chip, Toffee Crunch, Salted Caramel and Organic Chocolate Chip. This product was inspired by the creators love for the crispy edges of the brownies she baked. Shelia G turned that love into bigger batches making the perfect crunchy snack. *Peanut Butter Chip*

Right away, my husband demanded we try the Peanut Butter Chip. Between him, my one year old and myself we ate the whole bag in one sitting. This bag has the perfect blend of peanut butter with chocolate brittle. We weren't disappointed in the least! It also taste great dunked in a cup of hot chocolate.  

*Chocolate Chip*

This is the brittle I tried awhile ago at my mother's house before I even knew there were  other flavors. This is packed full of chocolate chips and is considered Shelia G's #1 selling flavor. This is perfect for the chocolate lover and is wonderful crumbled into vanilla yogurt. My husband loves it as a nighttime snack with a glass of cold milk. Great with strawberries too!

*Toffee Crunch*

Toffee Crunch is probably my favorite crumbled on some good ole vanilla ice cream. So much yum! You can see the toffee right in the brittle. Still great without ice cream though! This brittle makes a lovely addition to a hot fudge Sunday.

*Mint Chocolate Chip*

Mint Chocolate Chip is an acquired taste. This brittle has a very subtle mint taste to it. Every now and then I have a craving for mint chocolate chip ice cream and this taste great crumbled over vanilla or chocolate. 

*Salted Caramel*

Salted Caramel is my favorite flavor of brownie brittle. I love salty. This has a little salt, some crunch and a lot of sweet. Perfect snack in my book! My future plans for this brittle is to crumble right on top of the whip creme of a frozen frappe. Snack Perfecto!!!
