Art Naturals Black Head Remover Dermatologist Grade Kit

I purchased the Art Naturals Black Head Remover kit from Amazon Elite Deal Club. I got this kit for free or at a discount for the purpose of my review. All opinions are 100% my own.

When I seen this kit on Amazon Elite Deal Club, I just had to try it. The husband, Gary, is constantly asking me to pop bumps on his back. While I do love him dearly, I am very squeamish about popping somebody else's bumps. Yuck!!! I just imagine crude squirting out the bump into my eye! Anyways, I most definately got this kit with Gary in mind. I told myself what the hell why not give it a try. It comes in an attractive white leather case and instructions are included. The instructions are easy enough to follow but they have many YouTube videos online if you learn better visually. Within the instructions it is suggesed to steam the area or use a hot compression before removal. It then gives a description of which tool works best depending on whether it's a black head, white head, lancing a white head or using on a larger area of the body. It gives direction of how to use, follow up care of your skin and cleaning of tools.

The tools are made of stainless steel and in my opinion seem pretty sturdy. I feel they will hold up well. I have only used this kit once but I must say it's oddly exciting to me. It worked very well. Gary has had a bump on his back FOREVER that he begs me to pop every now and then. I hate doing this but I always give it a go and nothing. He always argues that it can be popped and I always argue well there isn't a head. Well in comes this kit in our lives and finally I got that bump. I had trouble popping it on my own because it was a blackhead.

I decided to use what the kit calls tool D. It is a little longer than the other tools and meant for areas on the arm, leg or back. I did not do the warm compress as suggested. I honestly forgot about it. The kit suggests this to soften the area which in turn should make removal easier. I put the loop on top of Gary's back with the loop surrounding the blackhead. I applied gentle pressure and white stuff just kept coming.

Gross photo, I know!! We finally got that bump though. Gary report that it didn't hurt at all. There was also notany  redness left behind like you see when you fight popping a bump with your fingers.

All that was left was a little indention where the black head use to be. I'm fairly confident that there will be no scarring. The kit suggest to clean the area with warm water to wash away any bacteria. Of course Gary didn't want that. He is too darn silly sometimes. He did clean the tool with water and wipe down with alcohol. I am so thrilled I seen the Art Naturals black head remover kit. I am no longer squeamish about bump popping and am anticipating another removal soon! I also plan to get my own. I have issues with ingrown hairs from time to time that I want to give this kit a go at.

NATU Professional Colorist Shampoo and Conditioner

I contacted NATU Hair Care requesting samples to try due to my interest in their product line. A representative from their company contacted me with questions about my hair so they could send me products most suitable for my haircare needs. I explained that my hair has been growing for over two years without cut or color but the ends were colored treated. I also mentioned that the ends were severely damaged and in need of attention. Their level of professionalism is top notch and they were extremely fast. From my first point of contact to actually trying the product, all happened within a week's time. I recieved two shampoo and two conditioner samples for color treated hair.

A little about NATU products. This company offers a natural hair care line which eliminates harmful chemicals and harsh synthetics. Their products contain:

πŸ’š No Artifical Colors
πŸ’š No Ethoxylates
πŸ’š No Parabens
πŸ’š No Resins
πŸ’š No Silicones
πŸ’š No Synthetic Fragrances
πŸ’š No Sulfates
They offer a variety of shampoo's and conditioner's depending on hair care needs. Also managing, reviving, silkening or volumizing mists. As I mentioned before, I recieved NATU Professional Colorist Shampoo and Conditioner ecspecially for dry, damaged, color treated hair.

I took a before and after photo:
     BEFORE NATU        AFTER NATU

In my before photo I brushed my hair out before washing. Yes, I know my hair is in desperate need of some kind of attention. Before becoming a stay at home mother, I visited the salon every 3 months. I always had a color change and cut. For years, I kept my hair in a short, layered bob which was above my chin. This is my hair after two years of growing and no color treatment. As you can see I need a trim so please don't judge NATU by my dead ends! I was skeptical when I first tried this product. It had practically no suds but in hindsight I figure that is a good thing. The product has a clean scent which isn't overbearing. This will be perfect for my migraine days when I can't tolerate smells. I shampooed and left on one minute as directed. Then conditioned and left on for three minutes as directed. As you can see in my after picture the healthy part of my hair is vibrant and shiny. I have wavy/curly hair which can get very dry and brittle. This product felt like nourishment for my hair. NATU contains proteins, lipids, vitamins and nutrients your hair needs to thrive.

        MY SECOND TRY OF NATU

Being that I have wavy/curly hair, I don't wash daily. I usually wait 2-3 days in between. My second go with NATU was two days later. My hair was not as tangled as usual when I'm due for a wash. My hair didn't feel as heavy either. It normally takes me 30 minutes of brushing after washing my hair to remove all my tangles. After my second round with NATU, I timed it and it only took me 2 minutes. 2 minutes is unheard of with my other products. My hair is much more manageable, shiny and soft. I could even use a comb, which is recommended for my hair type, in place of the detangling brush I always have a battle with. I dread wash day because of my long, tangly hair. I've been wanting to grow my hair long and keep at it, but being tired of the fight, I was getting ready to cut it back into that super short bob, until I tried NATU. I'm aware I still need to trim these ends. I would love to see how much difference a month makes switching to NATU. NATU isn't available in my area so I will have to order from their site. I think it would be an investment worth my while!

*Disclaimer: I received this product for free for the purpose of my review. All opinions are 100% my own.

Seventh Generation Free & Clear 4X Concentrated Natural LaundryDetergent

The weather has kept us pretty much snowed in this week due to the snow storm of the century. I was able to catch up on chores and what not, including my laundry. Not too long ago I received samples of Seventh Generation Free & Clear laundry detergent. Of all their product's I have tried so far this has been my favorite from their line. I know it's hard to get excited about laundry but when you have a babe with sensitive skin and a detergent that doesn't irritate it's a cause for celebration!

This detergent is AWESOME for my eczema prone household. Not only is this product suitable for  my child's sensitive skin needs it is also environmentally friendly. Seventh Generation Free & Clear laundry detergent is:

πŸ’š Non-toxic and hypoallergenic
πŸ’š No dyes or synthetic fragrances
πŸ’š No optical brighteners
πŸ’š No animal testing
πŸ’š Kosher and Gluten-Free
πŸ’š 96% USDA Certified Biobased

Basically this detergent is made for sensitive skin in mind.

If you or anyone in your family has super sensitive skin prone to eczema then you know my excitement of a product that is gentle on the skin. This detergent exceeded my expectations. It did what I expected by keeping my little ones skin free from agitation. I have done two loads of her clothes and it has been fabulous! This one year old of mine is the messiest eater on the planet and this detergent took care of the stains. I also did a load of towels. Not just any towels but musty towels. Also a few had been used to clean up pet urine. (My poor fur baby is old and sometimes can't help herself) So this was a true test.

I allowed the towels to soak a little in the detergent before starting the load. To my surprise, the towels came out clean and odor free. That is something I never expected in a free & clear detergent. I usually stick to scented detergent for the rest of my laundry but my towels were fresh and clean. I think it's safe to say I could use this detergent for the whole family. It meets my daughters needs which was the most important. Her skin is clear and I'm one ecstatic momma!

*Disclaimer: I received this sample for free for the purpose of my review. All opinions are 100% my own.

Kai Fragrance Sample

I contacted kaifragrance.com for a free sample. They in turn sent me two samples of the kai perfume oil and product brochure. All opinion's of this product are 100% my own.

Let me start by saying this product is obviously top of the line quality. I researched this company a tad bit and found that they have quite a large celebrity following. My eye was quite intrigued by their motto breath * life * flow. Something about it is mesmerizing and brings peace to my soul. They have some very positive selling points such as made in the USA, uses recycled material for packaging, gluten free, vegan friendly and does not condone animal testing. Also paraben, sulfate, phyhalate and phosphate free. Products are not geared toward the most price conscious savvy of consumers being that the line cost $19 for hand cream all the way to $78 for a home reed diffuser. But by being of superior quality, you are most definitely getting what you pay for. Products consist of fragrance, bath, body, hair care and a home line. Kai claims that their scent is the most sought after fragrance today. These lovely products are sold exclusively in boutiques and spas around the world.

As for the samples I received, my household had a conflicted opinion of the most sought out scent. I'm Team Kai and hubby Gary had some less pleasing thoughts of it in his mind. He said it wasn't that he didn't like it but the smell reminded him of an old woman. Well so what?!?!? However, he is the one I want attracted to my scent. So lightly put it, Gary will not be intoxicated by this scent. Who knows maybe the little old ladies Gary delivers oxygen to are Team Kai and there is nothing wrong with that! I personally found this fragrance made with essential oils to be quite delightful. I will say this little vial blended with gardenia and hints of white exotics is very strong. I rubbed way more than needed on my wrist and neck. I should have paid attention to the recommendation of just a touch on pulse points. It does say that Kai is different on everyone so hopefully in their favor, Gary just doesn't prefer the smell on me. I had him take a whiff after I heavily dabbed my neck. I certainly enjoyed this fragrance and could see myself dabbing on a sachet for my intimate drawer.

Maple Holistics Lavender Hybrid Bubble Bath

Check out this review I did for Maple Holistics on Amazon.com.

Lavender Hybrid Bubble Bath for Women, Men and Teens - Lavender Hybrid, Gentle, and Safe for Sensitive Skin - With Vitamin E and Aloe Vera (Misc.)

I received the Lavender Hybrid Bubble bath as a free sample for the purpose of my review. All opinions are 100% my own.

The Lavender Hybrid formula consist of these essential oils:
•Lavender: Helps with restlessness, insomnia, nervousness and depression.
•Palmarosa: Is an antiseptic, hydrating and fights depression, anxiety and fatigue.
•Clary Sage: Another stress reducer, anti-inflammatory, and natural sedative.
This is just a summary of the health benefits these different essential oils can offer you.
I have tried this bubble bath two nights in a row, and with being a sample, I still have enough for another bath or two. My first night I had a really bad headache and was under a lot of stress. I was skeptical at first because I didn't quite smell the Lavender but what I felt was more of the Clary Sage. I'm going to guess my senses were off due to my headache because the second night I could definitely smell notes of the Lavender coming through.

                      *1st Night*

                     *2nd Night*

With my sample I was given advice on how to best maximize my bubble bath experience using this product. It was suggested to use one to two squeezes in a warm bath. This didn't quite benefit me, as I enjoy rather hot baths which wasn't recommended due to dehydration. I found I enjoyed my bath more the second night being that I added a little more product than suggested because I used hot water. The bubble content was greater and I was rather pleased. Both nights, towards the end of a 20 minutes soak, I definitely felt more relaxed. My headache eased off that I was experiencing the first night. I also felt somewhat of the sedating affect. That is a lot coming from me. I have severe sleep apnea. Most nights for me are restless and I have trouble with insomnia. I rather enjoyed my experience with the Lavender Hybrid Bubble Bath. In my opinion I would only use this bath at nighttime and I recommend to anyone wanting help with stress relief.

THZY Dog Training Collar

Check out the my product review from Amazon.com.

Dog Training Collar - THZY Rechargeable LCD Remote Shock Control Pet Dog Training Collar with 100 Level of Vibration + 100 Level of Static Shock+ 1 Level Tone For Small Dog (Black) (Misc.)

This training collar for dogs does exactly what it claims to do. I was skeptical of using a training collar because I don't want to hurt my canine child. She is a smart and quick learner so the vibrating function worked just fine with her and we can avoid the shock function. This training collar is rechargeable, waterproof and expandable to two dogs.

When you first receive the collar you have to charge the controller and the receiver collar for a while. Both require 6 hours of charging. We are on day four and have not had to recharge them yet.

There are little prongs on the inside of the receiver so I just take my girls collar off at bedtime to avoid irritating her. This comes with a black receiver collar or you can fit it on your own. We just put the receiver on our dogs old collar.

The package also includes a remote controller and test bulb. The instructions on how to use are simple to follow. Both controller and receiver have a power saving function. The controller will enter sleep mode after 2-3 minutes of non use. You just press the mode button for 1 second to start it up. The receiver has a little red light that will light up every 5 seconds when it's on. The receiver will also enter sleep mode after 20 seconds of non movement. Any movement will wake it up. The controller has multiple functions including 100 levels of vibration, 100 levels of static (shock),a tone function and an LED light selection. There is an up and down button to change the intensity of static or vibrations.

We got this collar for the purpose of training our dog to stop barking at other dogs from our front window. She has also gotten really bad about taking food from my toddler, right out of my toddlers mouth at times. Our dog is pretty sweet and well behaved but we wanted to modify this behavior. I originally started at level 50 vibration for her which was totally not needed. I gave it a try on different levels and found level 5 of vibration works just fine for her. She doesn't really pay attention to the tone function just kinda looks around. I then tried the collar when she was attempting to take my daughters lunch. It was in sleep mode and I accidentally utilized the shock mode . It was only on level 9 and goes up to 100. She yelped out in pain and ran out the kitchen and up the staircase. I will never again use that function. But, I must say it worked because she stayed by my side in the kitchen when she moseyed back down and left my toddlers food alone. I would never suggest the static/shock option unless your dog was attacking somebody or something. Just seemed cruel to me. This collar was suitable for our needs and we will continue with the vibrating function. It worked really well and I'm glad we made this purchase.

Disclaimer: I purchased this product at a discount in return for my honest review. All opinion's are 100% my own.

Seventh Generation Free & Clear Wipes

What can I say but I'm pretty much in love with Seventh Generation products!!! Where have they been all my life?!?!? I'm lucky to have found Generation Home. I have two daughters who suffer from eczema courtesy of their father so this product line is a must have in my household. This week I reviewed  the Seventh Generation Free & Clear diaper wipes. I was sent this product for free for the purpose of my review and all opinions are 100% my own two cents!!!

My one year old appreciates these lovelies. No burning, itchy, skin for her. Nor no worries of the infamous eczema outbreak. There is no scent which I'm grateful for. I don't know how many wipes I've tried that claim to be "unscented" and surely weren't. What's up with that?

These little packets came equipped with 2 wipes each and is perfect to throw in your purse or diaper bag on the go. One wipe did the trick nor did I have an irritated babe. So no complaints from this momma!

Seventh Generation Free & Clear wipes are:
πŸ’šHypoallergenic
πŸ’›Unscented and free of dyes
πŸ’™Free of parabens and phthalates
πŸ’œEnvironmentally friendly

Some parents search high and low to find the right products for their little ones with sensitive skin. Boy can I tell you some doozies! If you haven't found the right product  for your family then I recommend you give these wipes a go.

I gave these wipes ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.

KISS Volume Lashes and strip lash adhesive

The last item I tried from my JingleVoxBox courtesy of Influenster was the KISS Volume Lashes and KISS Lash Adhesive with Aloe in black. I got to try these for FREE guys!! Keep in mind I'm a newbie with wearing or applying lashes but I will share with you how to do.

Here is the products we are using....

And the back of the packages have simple instructions for utilizing the adhesive and placing the lash....

1st step, you will want to take out the lashes and check the fit of them. You will lay the lash directly on top of your natural lash line. You may trim them if needed. I didn't need to.

2nd go ahead and apply your KISS lash adhesive to the band of the false lash. You will need to wait 30 seconds for for the adhesive to become tacky....

Last you will apply the lash along your natural eye line. You will want to hold the lash in place allowing the adhesive to dry.

Here is one eye with a KISS Lash and one eye without:

So totally again keep in mind I'm a newbie. I had to practice placing this lash   a few times before placing the lash adhesive. I can't wait to try these lashes again with full make up. They are definitely   beautiful and voluminous compared to my natural lashes. If you would like to try products for free and give your honest reviews join me at Influenster today. Seventh Generation Healthy Home Baby Party

I recieved a big wonderful box of products to share with friends and family of seventh generation products and affiliates. We are so thankful we got to enjoy a Healthy Home Baby Party. I recieved these products for free and all opinions are 100% my own.

First let's take a look at the contents of my box....
...so much fun stuff. Seventh generation diapers and wipes, full size Seventh generation dish liquid and samples of laundry detergent, cough syrup samples from Zarbees and a Babble! There was also coupons, informational material and a Bingo game.

I sent out E-vites and told some people about my party by world of mouth.
....Then I got my bags ready for the showing!!! I keep some products for my self and tried a few samples. I also gave my guest samples, information and coupons. Now I'm going to tell you about the products I and my guest tried.

So I really enjoyed the Seventh Generation dish liquid. I actually tried this product first. The Lemongrass & Clementine Zest scent was pleasant. I love that it is made from essential oils. The liquid was gentle on my hands but tough enough to clean my stainless steel pan after frying bacon. My guest of the Healthy Home baby party were able to enjoy a sample of the Lavendar Floral and Mint version.

My guests were very excited to recieve a sample of the Seventh Generation Free and Clear laundry detergent. We have several eczema sufferers in the crowd. I got rave reviews of this product so far.

The pack of diapers went to my little buddy here who is also my great nephew. Great for sensitive skin and holds up well through the night. He also got to try the Seventh Generation wipes along with some other guest. The sample pack contained two wipes which is perfect for on the go in the diaper bag or in your purse. I also used the pack of diaper wipes for my one year old daughter. I loved that they were fragrance free and no harsh chemicals. My babe irritates easily and these wipes were perfect for her needs.

I stole this from my Twitter....my daughter just happen to have a horrible cough and the Zarbees cough syrup really came in handy. She didn't complain about the flavor in fact she actually loved the agave. This cough syrup is safe for 2 months old and up.

Last product and not least is....
...my babble. I showed family and friends this product at my Healthy Home Baby Party. Everyone begged to have it but I kept this goodie for myself. Your own personal water filtration service. It will last for 300 standard water bottles and you just replace the filter after two months. I don't know about you but our family goes through about two cases of water a week. Mainly because of me so this is definately a savings for my family.

I really enjoyed the having the Healthy Home Baby Party. It's always a joy to get family and friends together and what better way then introducing then to some really great products. I thank Seventh Generation for sending me these products to allow it to happen. If you like samples and enjoy helping the environment join now at Seventh Generation #GenerationGood:

French Onion OreIda Tater Tot Casserole

OI hopped on to Pinterest to get some inspiration for a my OreIda Tater Tots that I got with my coupon from my #JingleVoxBox. I did not create this recipe on my own but pinned it courtesy of Plainchicken.com. I then recreated it in my kitchen.

I took my coupon to my local Harris Teeter and picked up a bag of OreIda Tater Tots....

....and here's my OreIda Tater Tots. Now for the Ingredients you will need:

1 (30 to 32 oz) bag of OreIda Tater Tots
•1 10 3/4 can cream of chicken soup
•1 16 oz container French onion dip
•8 oz shredded cheddar cheese (or if you're like me you can add more😊)

To start go ahead and preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Lightly spray a 9 x13 casserole dish. Go ahead and set that aside for a tid bit.

Next....

...mix ALL your ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Yes the FROZEN tots, cream of chicken soup, French onion dip and shredded cheese.

Then...
...pour mixed ingredients into your prepared casserole dish.

Place in oven and bake for 45 to 60 minutes until bubbly.

Last...
...just look at all this cheesy goodness. I really enjoyed this dish.

* I received my free OreIda Tater Tot coupon complimentary from Influenster.

Influenster my first VoxBox JingleVoxBox

So I joined Influenster in December and I was so lucky to receive my first VoxBox right away. In my freebie group some people have been members forever and nothing. Well my first box was the #JingleVoxBox and I'm just gonna share what was in that lovely little VoxBox.

What a lovely box it was indeed. I mean who doesn't like trying free stuff?!?!?!

The Olaf ittybitty mini from Hallmark was just too stinking cute! My girls fought over this!

Pure Ice nail polish. I really enjoyed this polish. You can purchase at Walmart. Shade is Lacquered Lilacs.

If you like dark, smudge proof and water resistant this is the eyeliner for you. NYC Cityproof 24 HR eyeliner can be found at Target.

The little pot of Cetaphil Moisturizing lotion was amazing on my hands.

My first Biscoff cookie experience. Pretty good and I can't wait to try with my coffee. My grandmother would be proud!

Received a coupon for free Ore-Ida Tots. I tried a scrumptious recipe last night. Kinda reminded me of hash brown casserole.

I haven't jumped into trying these products just yet. KISS strip lash adhesive and KISS True volume lashes. I'm waiting for something special to debut them at!

I really enjoyed all the contents this VoxBox had to offer. I can't wait to see what Influester has in store for me in 2016. If you love trying products and think checking out Influester is for you copy and paste this link and give it a try: www.influenster.com/r/1472684
